Woman’s Right Breast the Bump and the Hand Dream

This morning I woke with another dream. In the dream, there was a woman, her face was not distinguishable but she was standing in the light of the sun’s rays. She was in an open area for there were no buildings, plants, or anything around her. She was just bathing in the light of the sun. She was naked. Her breasts were exposed. But on her right breast a bump appeared. It was located closest to her right arm.

A pair of hands reached out toward her from above. They were supersized hands. Then in my spirit, I quoted Psalm 23 the whole chapter. But there was an emphasis on verse 4.

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Then I woke.

Components of Dream

Woman

‘Ishshah is the Hebrew word for woman, it means female, wife, woman which is the opposite of man. It finds its root meaning in the word ‘iysh which is the word for man which finds its root meaning in the word ‘anash which means to be weak, sick, to be frail.  It means to be ill at ease or to have a disease or a wound, one that is scarcely curable. It is to be of malignant disposition of mind according to the Gesenius’ Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon.

In the natural, we are fragile because in our current state, we are helpless due to our fallen condition.  But God has provided help for us in order that we may be reestablished to his former intent for us. We are to be wise, prudent, and without shame. That occurs as we walk and exist in the light.

Light of the Sun’s Rays

And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power.

Habakkuk 3:4

But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

Malachi 4:2

The Hebrew word for light is ‘owr which means light of prosperity, life, instruction, light of face, morning, day-break, and light of day. At it’s root it means to shine, be or become light, to shine, to become bright, to become lighted up, to illumine, to kindle, or to lighten as in the eyes, his law, etc.

The light referenced here has a comprehensive ability and power to do what nothing else can do. It is physical for it can be seen and felt! It is supernatural for it supports life. It is food for it can promote prosperity. It is also temporal for it exist in time in the day it brightens and at night it is a lamp, which guides and keeps the holder. But it is also a teacher for it is useful for instruction. Therefore the light that is references in the dream is the Light of God himself for there is no darkness in him and he is the source of true light and his light is woven into the fabric of all that exists.

Bathing in the Light

This then is the message that we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1 John 1:5

And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

Revelation 21:23

The woman was bathing in the Light of the Lord. In his light, nothing could be hidden. All was revealed and exposed. Therefore, this indicates that the woman was in the right position before God. And the bump was naked before him. The woman was not worried in the dream nor was she fearful.

Open Area

The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.

Deut. 28:12

Now it came about in the thirtieth year, on the fifth day of the fourth month, while I was by the river Chebar among the exiles, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.

Ezekiel 1:1

Drip down, O heavens, from above, And let the clouds pour down righteousness; Let the earth open up and salvation bear fruit, And righteousness spring up with it. I, the LORD, have created it.

Isaiah 45:8

The fact that she was in open areas indicates that there were no barriers, no hindrances, or obstacles. She was firmly established in the presence of God. She was not distracted. Whether she was seeking the Lord about the issue or God met her during the course of her journey is not known. In either case, she knew God and she was known by him. And she had reached her appointed time for him to act on her behalf.

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Ecclesiastes 3:1

There was a real sense that the woman understood what needed to be done. She did not ask God for anything, she was silent. She was not hurried but rather she patiently waited on God to do what he wanted. The woman possessed spiritual discernment and she came in line with the will of God.

And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.

1 Chronicles 12:32

Naked

And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

Genesis 2:25

The Hebrew word for naked is `arowm means to be bare or naked. It derives its root meaning from the word ‘aram means to be shrewd, beware, crafty, prudent, to be subtle. It is different from the nakedness which is found in Genesis 3:7 which convey the notion of being utterly naked and helpless.

Although Adam and Eve were naked in the beginning they were not helpless they did not have a necessity for clothing for they were robed in the righteousness of God. Yet after they sinned, they were naked and helpless and in need of God’s help.

Breast

The Hebrew word for breast is dad, which also means nipple or teat. It comes from the root word dowd, which means beloved, uncle, and love. The core meaning is boil. It conveys the notion of deep emotion, a close friend, an object of love, kisses, caresses, especially between the sexes.

Bump on Right Breast

There is a difference between going in the right direction and being established on the right foundation. The word for the directional position for right is found in Genesis 13:9 in the word for right  yaman Abraham used this word when he spoke with Lot about choosing the right, or to go to the right side. Later in the same verse he used the word right again which comes from the word yamiyn that means right hand, right side, or direction.

But there is another reference for right found in Genesis 24:48 which mean firmness, faithfulness, reliability, truth. The word emeth denotes continuance, stability, sureness and reliability. Emeth derives its primitive root meaning from the word ‘aman which is to confirm, be faithful, to support, to be established, to be carried, and to make firm. It also means to be verified, and established and to be sure.

When we look at the Gesenius’ Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon, we discover it means to stay, to prop, to support and to sustain. It is to support with the arm as if carrying a child. It represents one who carries and cares for a child. It is one who nurses, builds up and bears in the arms.

Therefore, the bump on the breast indicates a firmness that is brought into existence through the power of God’s divine love.

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Romans 5:5

The Lord’s Hands Reach Out

Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

Isaiah 59:1

LORD

Yĕhovah is the Hebrew word for Lord it is Jehovah “the existing One. The word means the one who causes things to come to pass, exist, happen, to become or to be. He also causes things to fall as in strongholds, sins, perversions. At its root it shapes our desires, cravings, lusts, and the things we long for.

Hand

Yad is the Hebrew word for hand. It means strength and power. It is also a sign, monument, and a support. In terms of the body, it is a part or a fraction of it.

Based on Isaiah 59:1 the understanding is that God is not impatient, he is not grieved nor is he incapable of saving his people. He is able to bring in the victory to save his people from mortal trouble as they battle; he can provide liberation for them.

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

2 Chronicles 16:9

Dream Significance

At first glance, this dream may seem troubling especially since so many women have been diagnosed with breast cancer. But in spiritual terms this dream reflects the heart and desire of God to establish his people on a firm foundation in his love. It is a word of assurance and encouragement. That he alone is able to expose the plots and schemes of the enemy and he alone can bring in the victory.

He is able to do this for in his presence nothing is hidden. All is exposed! When we truly rest in him, we have nothing to be ashamed of. We do not try to cover ourselves with fig leaves for we know that we have been covered with the righteous garments of Christ. There are times and seasons for everything under the sun. Therefore, there at times when we need to be silent and just wait on God. Our mouths should not be moving.

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

Psalms 40:1

God will not forget us. He desires to help us. He want to establish us in victory, but more importantly, he wants us to know and believe that he loves us.

Can a woman forget her nursing child, or lack compassion for the child of her womb? Even if these forget, yet I will not forget you. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

Isaiah 49:15-16

Deeper implications of the Dream

The Rise of God’s Mountain within Us (the bump)

For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

1 Corinthians 15:27

It is interesting to note the characteristics of the bump that appeared and its relation to the firmness of God’s righteousness established in love. The Lord is building his temple within each of us. It is established on the firmness of truth. As it expands and takes over territory takes us higher in the ways of God.

Truly, God is building a mountain or an elevated plain within each of us from which he intends to rule. If we continue in the process, he will be seated in the highest place in our being even above ourselves. Everything is to be subdued under his Lordship. This is when we know we trust, believe, have confidence in, and we are steadfast. The process entails casting down, bringing things into captivity, and operating in obedience to Christ.

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

2 Corinthians 10:5

But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Romans 13:14

As we tear down all else Christ is lifted and established in his rightful position above all else.

And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

Isaiah 2:2

For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.

Amos 4:13

By awesome deeds You answer us in righteousness, O God of our salvation, You who are the trust of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest sea; who formed the mountains by your power, having armed yourself with strength,

Psalms 65:5-6

But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.

Micah 4:1

God’s View of Things

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

Isaiah 55:8

God does not look at things the way we do. The situations we face are not impossible for him to handle. They afford him an opportunity to establish us in soundness, for him to bring in the victory on our behalf. But it requires something that few of us are willing or able to do. To remain faithful, to establish our self in trust, and to exercise an unwavering belief.

Grounded in Faith Believing

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

James 1:6

This is often easy to say but it is hard to do. Yet it is not impossible, for Job did it! The devil attacks our bodies because he knows it is an effective way to divide us within ourselves. It is a tactic that has successfully peeled many believers way from unwavering trust in God.

He knows that the voice of fear speaks the loudest when we are alone and it will not be denied an audience. The woman in the dream may have had cancer but the Lord repurposed what it was for his own glory. He shape it into something else because she trusted him without fear and without doubt.

It is interesting to note she did not seek the counsel of men. She stood in the presence of God alone.

Looking Closer at Psalms 23:4

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Valley of the Shadow of Death

Tsalmaveth is the Hebrew word for shadow of death. It means deep darkness, deep shadow, or place of the dead. It finds its root meaning from two words the word tsel that means shade and the word maveth that means death, dying, realm of the dead, death by violence, or a state of death.

Tsel gets its meaning from the word tsalal that means to be come, to be, or to grow dark, to sink or be submerged, to hoover over. The Hebrew word tselem reveals to us the intent of the valley of the shadow of death it is to become as an image or the likeness of something that is empty, to resemble it, as in heathen gods.

Maveth  gets its root meaning from muwth that means to have one executed, to kill, to perish, to die prematurely by neglect of wise moral conduct, or to put to death.

Therefore, we can see that there are two distinct courses, which one can end up on when one is in the valley of the shadow of death. One that changes you into an idol of emptiness after the likeness of Satan. Or it can set you on a course to premature death. This is the devils plan when he gets believers in the valley of the shadow of death.

What God is establishing firmly in Psalms 23 is that even in this valley he is with us. And because he is with us we have no cause to be fearful. Everything that is needed has been provided for us as we walk though. The implication is that we are supposed to come out of the valley intact!

He assures us that we will not want for anything. He takes us in the prosperous way that is full of peace for the waters are still. He restores whatever is lacking in our soul so to give us back our balance of emotions, strength, and thought. He accompanies us with weapons that not only comforts but also protect. Then he makes sure that we are nourished with the food that we need in order to continue.

Example:

1 Kings 19 God provided food for Elijah.

But he goes further for he anoints us with a loan of spiritual fatness, understanding, and wisdom. It is a medicament which is a substance used for medical treatment. It is this provision that causes us to be fruitful in the valley of the shadow of death. It changes the landscape, alters the circumstances. After all is said and done, we come out because the Lord has made it better though his mercy and then we are able to dwell in his house forever.

Prophetic Demonstrations

And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed. And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.

2 Kings 13:18-19

3.1.16

And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.

1 Samuel 17:48

On 3.1.16, there were several prophetic demonstrations that accompanied the dream. First, I heard the phrase, “run toward the battle.” Upon hearing and understanding its meaning, I called the Gyn doctor and asked for an appointment. The receptionist asked me “Do you want to come in today?” I told her yes and I went in to see the doctor. When I finished at the doctor’s office, he noticed that I had not done a mammogram for a period-of-time. Therefore, he gave me a referral to have it done. When I called the diagnostic place, they asked me, “do you want to come in today?” I said yes and I went in and did the test.

What was unusual was that it is impossible to get a same day appointment under normal circumstances with the doctor or with the diagnostic place. The day was distinctly marked with divine favor. The fact that it was the third month (March) and the first day of the month, indicates divine perfection that comes through God alone. He paved the way as I ran toward the battle in faith.

3.2.16

On 3.2.16, I was moved to call the ears, nose, and throat doctor to get an appointment as well. The receptionist asked me, “Can you come in today?” I responded yes I could. The fact that two days in a row were christened with divine favor indicates a double anointing or a double dose of favor in this season. If we are willing to run to the battle, believing God, he will cover our life and circumstances with unprecedented favor. It will not be like prior seasons and we will notice the difference!
