“It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.”
Proverbs 25:2
Vision 2.16.16
This morning as I laid in my bed the name Cole Gary came before my eyes. Then the initials CG presented itself. What did it mean? What was the Lord trying to communicate to me?
The name Cole in Greek means “People’s victory” and the English meaning is “Of a triumphant people.” The name Gary according to its German roots “Spear” and in English, it means “Hard or bold spear.”
The initials CG told me to see God. Therefore, it was evident that God wanted me to take note of the names and their meanings.
When it is put together, the understanding that was revealed is that God desires to make us a triumphant people. He will forge us into hard bold spears, which will pierce through darkness to bring about its ruin and destruction in this season.
Scriptural reference
“Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads. As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears. And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear. Then the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of the LORD from his place.”
Ezekiel 3:8-12
Triumphant people prayer
Father cause us to be a triumphant people. Make us see you in this season. Help us to understand and do what you desire to bring into existence. Father forge us as hard, bold, mighty spears in the hands of our God. Make us pierce darkness causing its ruin and destruction in the lives of the called, in the name of Jesus. Start with us oh Lord. Let us not be hypocrites but true and sound in the eyes of our God, amen.
“And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”
2 Corinthians 10:6
“Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.”
Matthew 7:5
Food for thought
- Are you willing to be forged by God?
- Are you a weapon of light in the hands of Christ?
- Do you know what God desires of you in this season?
- Are you willing to seek it out?

How wonderful. And it’s awesome how you “listen” to God. I have to admit I need to do more listening and less talking. 🙂
