2.28.16
Throughout the night, I had several dreams, this is the third night in a row where this happened and each time the dreams came in threes.
Dream 1 | Woman and the Cane
Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities.
Isaiah 43:24
I observed a woman who was walking with a cane. From the manner she was walking, she appeared to be old, but she was not. As she walked along her course, she threw away the cane. When she did, her body straightened and she walked as a young person full of life and energy and excitement.
The Hebrew word for cane is qaneh that means reed, stalk, bone, shoulder-joint, or balances. Its root meaning comes from the word qanah that means to possess, create, acquire, to get, or obtain. It also means acquiring knowledge, wisdom, to cause to possess or to be brought. When we look at the Gesenius’ Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon, we discover it means to erect, to create, or to be set upright.
The biblical context is reflected in the following verses:
Do ye thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? is not he thy father that hath bought thee? hath he not made thee, and established thee?
Deut. 32:6
For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.
Psalms 139:13
The LORD made me at the beginning of His creation, before His works of long ago.
Proverbs 8:22
Dream Significance
Therefore, the significance of the dream is that the woman with the cane was in a process of learning how to stand upright in the ways of the Lord. The cane was a support to her until she acquired knowledge of God for herself that would help her to continue in the path of the Lord in a straight and upright manner. She was renewed through the process. She was no longer bent or twisted in her ways.
What is evident is that she was dependent on the cane for it acted as a shoulder-joint, which strengthened her arm. She held the cane in her hand meaning that what she seized and grasped for was of spiritual benefit to her progression. She didn’t lay hold on what would cause her to remain in her position or would cause her to continue a downward existence. She seized what was of benefit and in turn over time, it cause her to acquire knowledge and wisdom from God. She went through a process of redemption, which originated from God.
Dream 2 | The Departure on Floor 11
Now shall the isles tremble in the day of thy fall; yea, the isles that are in the sea shall be troubled at thy departure.
Ezekiel 26:18
A group of us was trying to depart from airport but every line was backed up. We went in search of a short line when we met Pastor Adjovi. He was on a line too and had been waiting for a while. Then he suggested that we try a higher floor. He specifically mentioned floor 11.
He told us he needed to drop off his kids first and then we would go to the upper floor because it should be less crowed and we should be able to leave from there.
Yatsa’ is the Hebrew word for departure. It means to go out, to go forth, to come out or to exit. It has the connotation of germination, expansion, to cause to go out or to come forth as in the Children of Israel being led out of Egypt. It can also mean the end of a period. It can also mean something that is running on or running through as in flowing.
The biblical context is reflected in the following verses:
Exiting
And it came to pass the selfsame day, that the Lord did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.
Exodus 12:51
End of a Season
Now shall the isles tremble in the day of thy fall; yea, the isles that are in the sea shall be troubled at thy departure.
Ezekiel 26:18
Flowing
For the Lord thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;
Deut. 8:7
The root word for eleven is ‘ashar it means to become rich or wealthy, pretend to be rich, to enrich oneself, or to enrich. It means to be straight, prosper, be happy (especially to be rich), to erect, or to build up.
According to E. W. Bullinger, the number eleven represents disintegration, imperfection, disorder, and disorganization.
The biblical context is reflected in the following verses:
And Ephraim said, Yet I am become rich, I have found me out substance: in all my labours they shall find none iniquity in me that were sin. And I that am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt will yet make thee to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn feast.
Hosea 12:8-9
He shall not be rich, neither shall his substance continue, neither shall he prolong the perfection thereof upon the earth.
Job 15:29
Then said Ahaziah the son of Ahab unto Jehoshaphat, Let my servants go with thy servants in the ships. But Jehoshaphat would not.
1 Kings 22:49
There is a distinct difference between being rich in the eyes of God and being rich in our own eyes. Often we believe we are rich with the accumulation of things or possessions. But in God’s view we are poor.
Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
Revelation 3:17
There are times when we try to align ourselves with those who are rich and prosperous such as what Ahaziah tried to do with Jehoshaphat. Although we try, it does not change the fact that it is a pretense to be what we are not.
Dream Significance
Therefore, the significance of the dream is that there are three groups of people, those who are spiritually rich, those who are not, and those who are still babes but who are on the course to being spiritually rich.
Babes
The babes were represented by the Pastor children. They are being trained and guided in the straight ways of the Lord. Their time had not come yet for them to proceed to the higher floor.
Pretenders
The second group are those other individual in the airport who continued to wait on the line. They were okay with waiting around and not advancing. They did not seek the higher path or another route for they were comfortable where they were waiting in line. This group was comfortable with pretending to be spiritually rich and knowledgeable. They were content on the appearance of wealth and riches and were not concerned with actually acquiring it from the Lord.
Seeking Spiritual Riches
The Last group are those who are seeking the higher ways of God. They were willing to depart from appearing rich to actually being rich. This group was not content to wait around. They wanted to exit where they were and wanted to be ushered into an area that was better and that flowed easier and without obstruction. In other words, this group is going through the process of disintegration. They are destroying the pretense of riches and are actually opting to secure true riches in God.
All parties went to the airport to take a trip. This is something that most people look forward to doing because it means that you have the ability to treat yourself according to earthly standards because of earthly provisions.
The season is coming where the distinctions between the groups will be evident. There will be an opportunity to exit the old season and enter into the flowing season of the Lord or to remain in the current season and pretend to be what you are not. The babes will be moved to another place spiritually were they will continue to learn and be taught by the Lord in safety. It is a place that is hidden and he alone knows where it is and how those lessons will proceed. This was demonstrated because the Pastor took his kids to a different location and it was not revealed in the dream.
The Pastor name means prince in English. He represents Jesus the prince of peace the one who is responsible for those the Father has called out from the world. A prince is in line rule. Christ will be crowned King of Kings.
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 6:44
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6
That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.
John 18:9
And He has a name written on His robe and on His thigh: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
Revelation 19:16
Dream 3 | Blessing and Honor
And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
Genesis 1:22
In the third dream, things were hazy but there was a strong sense of a person being blessed and honored. I could not tell if the person was laying, kneeling, or standing, but they were being blessed by someone greater and larger than they were.
Barak is the Hebrew word for blessed. It means to kneel, to be adored, to praise or to salute. It can also mean to curse someone.
And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.
Exodus 14:17
Kabad is the Hebrew word for honor. It means to be weighty, grievous, rich, and heavy, to be glorious or to be burdensome.
The biblical context is reflected in the following verses:
Honored by Men
I receive not honour from men.
John 5:41
How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?
John 5:44
For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
John 12:43
Honored by God
Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
1 Samuel 2:30
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
Psalms 91:15
And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken.
Deut. 26:19
Dream Significance
There are two distinct types of honor. The one that comes from God and the one that is bestowed by men. Here there is a choice. Which type of honor are we seeking? What type of blessing do we desire?
Based on the Hebrew meaning for blessing one must be willing to humble oneself and kneel before God. The kneeling action can be actual kneeling, it can occur when lying in bed, or standing up for it speaks to the position of ones heart before the Lord. It is a willingness to seek him, to inquire of him, and to be reliant on him. This person is not puffed up nor do they think more highly of themselves than they ought.
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
James 4:10
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
1 Peter 5:6
The person who desires honor and blessings from men will be boastful and will be a lover of himself.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2 Timothy 3:2
